"Design, Manufacture and Installation of high quality Signs and Display Products"

Paint spraying and Powder Coating

Skelton Thomas Signs had the abilities to undertake traditional stove enamelling along with other wet spray finishes and polyester powder coatings, cured in our own batch oven.

Stove enamelling produces a high quality, corrosion resistant, durable finish that is available in a wide range of colours, gloss levels and other types of finish. It is a wet-paint process that uses specialised stoving paints. We apply the paint by spraying before curing in an oven at specific temperatures and for a specific period of time.

Powder Coating can be used on a variety of materials and is available in a wide range of colours, gloss levels and other types of finish. It is a dry-paint process using a powdered form of paint. The paint is electro-statically charged using specialised equipment which causes the paint to stick to the surface. The painted object is then heated in an oven, melting the paint powder and fixing it to the surface. Because the paint is electro statically charged the paint covers the targeted item on all surfaces.
